These pieces were created during Scholastic's 2023 Art Mentorship Program under the wonderful direction of Cynthia Ng, a Senior Designer at Scholastic! I was selected to work with a mentor over the course of 5 months to learn more about the publishing industry and to receive design feedback from a working professional.
The project I worked on during this time was based off the copy from the existing children's book "If I Were Tiny" by Liza Charlesworth. I was thrilled to create three spreads detailing the adventures of a little girl and all the bug pals she makes along the way!
